  1. Ohio AgrAbility working with University of Dayton

    Ohio AgrAbility has started it's 7th consecutive semester working with University of Dayton's Innovative Engineering class.  The class will be broke into design teams and develop assistive technology specific to meeting the needs of AgrAbility clients.  This is a great opportunity for the students to put design concepts into real-life application. In the past, design projects consisted of ergonomic handles for tools, safety devices for individuals with a disability, and assistive technology to be used on farm equipment.

  2. Ohio AgrAbility at 2012 Farm Science Reveiw

    An Ohio AgrAbility display will be setup in OSU Central with staff on hand to answer questions. AgrAbility is a program of the U.S. Department of Agriculture promoting independence for people in agriculture who want to continue to farm after experiencing a disabling condition. The program works with a wide array of conditions including brain or spinal cord injuries, back injury, amputations, visual or hearing impairments, heart disease, respiratory problems, repetitive motion injuries, diabetes, and arthritis.
